Jenny from Michigan is working at a local insurance company in her hometown in the US after having spent 4 years in Japan previously as an ALT. She missed Japan and wanted to do something that utilized the

Tom is a young international student living in Osaka on an exchange program. He envisioned himself working while studying but he had two big problems. The first was that his Japanese wasn’t up to speed and secondly his weekly classes were at all different times of the day. It was difficult for him to commit to an hourly part time job and needed a job with flexible hours. On Ganbaruu he found an online writing job about Japanese culture and tourism and by having weekly deadlines Tom was able to manage his schedule with his classes while working on his content. Tom loves Japanese culture and being an avid writer, he found a platform in which he could express it and share his experiences with others. And get paid for it !
